They fuse traditional Japanese Instruments (Wagakki) with western rock instruments, and a super talented japanese opera type singer. What results, is a really different and interesting sound! I'm strangely kind of hooked on it now.
What's better, they also did a bunch of covers of Vocaloid songs. I like that because I still dislike Vocaloid as I believe in the more natural and human aspects of music. Call me old school if you will, but this band definitely proves human voice is better than machines. Go humans! :)
