Holiday Mood

Heyo! Holidays are coming! Hohoho!

These few days, been feeling very relaxed and chill. So much so, that I almost forgot to keep to my weekly blog post timeline. Actually, the past week was pretty uneventful anyway. Basically just went to work daily, didn't do much. The weather these days is more cooling and rainy than usual. Makes me feel like falling asleep. This week, was pretty relaxed. Friday was the most outstanding of them all, though that's not saying much. Basically, we wanted to have an 8MC reunion lunch, with Kenneth, JY and CY. the venue was at IKEA for lunch. Everyone except CY was able to make it. Apparently he was held up at work, too bad. But it was a fun lunch. We talked a bit about what we were all currently doing, about casual topics, and had a pretty enjoyable lunch.

On the way back, Kenneth had to go home to grab his gear for the afternoon event. So I took the bus with JY and chatted along the way. I asked him about the toy shop business that he said he wanted to start. His friend and partner already has a mini shop going on with the carousel app. Which I should add, is an app idea I had years before it came out. Regardless, I recently also started dabbling into the toys and figurines stuff. I'm trying to sell some limited edition Dota 2 figures on Qoo10, but no success so far. So I started listing on carousel too. Hope that goes well...

Anyway I digress. There was also an event in the afternoon. My boss organized a sports day type event for our whole department, though only like half showed up. Honestly, I haven't played badminton in ages, and my arm is practically numb after the games. Thankfully for me, most of the people there were pretty casual and non-professional players too. So, save 1 or 2 guys, I didn't look too bad out there. It was pretty fun and nice to take some time off the mundane office area to go to some club to play. I really enjoyed it, and hope we can do more events like this soon.

So yeah, that was basically my week. Not too much exciting stuff, and then Friday which was pretty fun. I still have exactly 1 week of work left for the year, then I will be heading to Japan for the holidays! Yay! Ok, looks like I posted this late. Oh well, I actually started typing on Sunday night. Then went dota, then came back and posted it. Anyway, I shall leave you with a Christmas song, to celebrate the festive mood. Enjoy~
