Happy Chinese New Year!

Hey everyone!!

Hope you had a fun and fulfilling Chinese New Year today. And hopefully, you're in slightly better financial standing! Haha. Well, for me I didn't get to celebrate this year after the funeral and all. Not that I'm one for all the theatrics and traditions.

Today was the same as usual for me. Just went down to relatives house to visit aunts and uncles. Eat together, watch tv and sit there chill. A bunch of them were gambling as always. My sis joined in their majong game, and actually won a little cash. I still don't know how to play that.

No ang baos this year though, since we aren't celebrating. Mostly just a gathering for gathering's sakes. Still is good to see everyone is still healthy. Of interesting news is that one of my cousin is pregnant few months already. I guess that means I'm going to be an uncle soon? Damn, that sounds old. I'M STILL YOUNG OKAY!!

In fact, me and my fellow cousins had some trouble figuring out what the new baby should call us. Besides the simple auntie/uncle, still got the chinese family hierarchy version one mah. Lol, no one could agree on the correct term. The only answer I could find on google is "biao yi" and "biao shu". Not sure if that's the most granular one though. It doesn't include our ranking. Whatever.

Other than that.... I will be meeting my longest bestest friend on Tuesday for lunch. Haven't met him in a long long time since we don't go to the same school. Been best buddies since Primary One. Should be fun to catch up on old times. Pity we don't too much interests anymore besides Dota. I will also be going for a job interview on Wednesday. Hope that goes well, really aiming for that. Got some friends working there already.
