MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE!!


I know it's a little late, but better late than never right? 12 days of Christmas?


So yesterday was Christmas. This year was much happier than usual, even though it is still the same thing. A change in mindset is all it takes right? I took a couple of pictures yesterday, but I'm lazy to upload it again here. If you've been reading my tumblr or following me on twitter, you should have seen it. A brief recap of what happened yesterday: I decided to try something a little different this year. I wanted to surprise my sister with my present. So I went to buy it when she was at tuition and hid it in the car boot, lol. Then, I got my dad to sneakily transfer it to my room while we were still outside. The last step was to actually surprise her. So what I did was wait for her to fall asleep then put it in her room. You know, like children waking up on Christmas morning thinking that Santa put the present under the tree. Except we didn't really have a tree...

Christmas dinner was kind of weird/funny. Went to NEX to try and get a decent dinner with my folks. We originally planned to go to Fish & Co. But then when we walked in, they showed us to a really small and crampy table for 4 people. We then briefly took a look at the menu for like less than 5 minutes, then my dad felt really uncomfortable, so we decided not to eat there.

Instead, we headed to the Swenson's upstairs to eat. It was quite crowded there too, except they had a much much larger dining area. The waitress who served us is damn dao. You know, the poker face look, and minimal talking, no smiling and like buay song attitude. So, we spent like the next 10 mins discussing about he waitress skills, or lack thereof. I suppose maybe she had plans, but then no choice forced to work on Christmas day, apply leave rejected or something. Yada yada.

Soup of the day was cream of chicken. My favorite, dun like mushrooms. After we finished the soup, they served us the main course, so we put the empty bowls at the side of the table so that it is easier to clear. So came Miss Dao to help us clear our bowls. But then she Kay Kiang, try to carry 2 bowls and the plates under the bowl, in one hand. She try to fit here and there abit, then lifted it off the table. But then it was unstable, so one bowl fell off to the ground. "Piang!!" The bowl shattered into bits and pieces. I think one small piece flew past my leg during that time, coz my leg ended up got cut. At first, I thought it was just a scratch coz it didn't look like much. But after awhile, it started bleeding which kind of surprised me. So we spent the rest of the dinner talking about the incident and restaurant management and whatever. The waitress never came back to our table.


Oh well, it's the festive season. I wasn't about to get upset about a small incident like that. Let's enjoy some music instead!

Going for a birthday party on Wednesday. Feeling nervous, it's my first time. I'm not sure exactly where or what it is really. Hopefully Julian will guide me along. Best to make your first time accompanied with a good friend. Not so awkward. Also, it would make it easier to give out Huge Plushie #2. This one, is really huge.

It's approaching the new year! Which means.... Holidays are ending! Noooo.  T_T

It's all happening so quickly. And I haven't met up with my best buddies yet! Argh! I hope we can meet up before Jeffrey has to fly off to Australia again. But I'm not sure when they are free leh. I'm not in tune with the whole Tohou thingy. Perhaps I should hop on the bandwagon too? Or not? I seem to have enough stuff to distract me during school semesters already. But I don't really wanna grow apart from my friends as well... Ah the choices.

Nvm, I won't bore you anymore. That's all for now.
