Party!

I realise I haven't made a blog post in awhile. But I figured I should probably update everything before the year ends. And also, I wanted to put up some pictures here as well. Because I haven't really posted any pics here ever since I got my Tumblr+SGS2. Mobile blogging is so much easier you know? Just upload pics when I have nothing to do / waiting for something. It's kinda fun.

So, this week was a hell lot more fun than usual. More fun than the rest of my holiday combined, to be precise. 2 activities in the same week!

Wednesday was Chloe's birthday.

Sorry, pictures a little blurry. It was under indoor lighting and I used digital zoom, which always messes my pictures up.

It was a rather big party, and there were many people there. Many people I didn't know. I've seen a lot of the Computing seniors around, but never really talked to them before. Besides, there was not really much to do. Enjoyed watching Ninja Warrior on TV. Japanese game shows and especially the hosts, are always out to humiliate the contestants. Such bastards. lol.

Julian and I shared cost for the gift. Our present was a huge-ass monkey plushie. Regrettably, I never got a chance to take a picture of it. Trust me, it's big. We even had a hard time finding a way to wrap it! In the end, had to buy 2 pieces of wrapping paper from Kiddy Palace, and they don't let us pay them to wrap it! Paper Market wanted to charge us $10 wrapping fee (excludes paper). Dream on!!

I like the way they gave out the cakes. Forgot to get paper plates? I thought the buffet outside had some? They gave out pieces of the strawberry cake on pieces of tissue paper. Hmm.... Oh well, it was nice. All 3 bites of it. No lah, it was nice. Really!

Oh wow. I read the stuff I typed above again. It seems like I'm complaining or something. But I'm not! It seems I always write like this. Default mode is cynical. But seriously, I enjoyed it. Any chance to get me out of the house is a plus. First time attending a party, even better!


Hopefully I'll be invited to more parties next time....
