Action Plan: 17-Aug-2015

Hey. It's that time of the week again. Planning for the week ahead. But before I actually do that, I think I should recap the previous week. Just to give a status update on how things went. There's just some satisfying feeling when you actually execute your plan.

For the most part, almost everything went according to plan. I finished my work early, so I had no homework on Wednesday, which was good. I procrastinated a little, and was honestly pretty tired, so I lapsed on the Japanese studies. My bad. Friday I had forgotten to plan to attend my sister's SMU convocation, so I didn't have any admin time after all. But it's all cool, we stayed in on Sunday to rest instead, so I payed all the bills then.

Now about EOY. Haha. It was heck of an event. First time going to one of these cosplay event too. Like one times suah ku max. Getting to marina barrage by bus was not as straightforward as I had thought. After reaching there, I was also pretty much alone. Just that I was alone while outside, instead of indoors. Got difference I guess?

Oh, I took A LOT of photos! Also managed to meet one of my frequent Dota buddies there. Unfortunately, I am still sorting through the photos. So I shall keep that and share it at a later date. In fact, I shall try to squeeze it into the plan below!

So let's just get straight into the plan!

Monday: Planning

Tuesday: GYM
Standard stuff lah hor? My usual workout. At California Fitness Orchard. If you do go there, or happen to be around Orchard area, text me. Tuesday nights. Maybe we can have dinner together. Otherwise, gonna work it out!

Wednesday: Japanese + Blogging
Yeah, the Japanese thing from last week. Unfortunately I didn't do it. And my Elementary 2 classes are starting next week. This time must really make it stick. I will squeeze in some time to do the blogging about EOY as well. Got a lot to write about, I just want to dump my brain full of thoughts and feelings into it. Do look out for it. I might start writing on Tuesday if I'm not too dead from gym.

Thursday: Homework
Oh damn, homework again??!! What happened to fixed office hours? No choice, call me dedicated, but I'm still in the flux phase. There's something I gotta iron out and present to the boss on Friday. So definitely must get it out by then. This will probably determine some of the stuff I will be doing for next year and beyond. Important stuff.

Friday: Admin
Standard admin time. I don't really have any bills left to pay for this month though. So it will really be just gathering information on how to go and what to do at ICDS the next day. Putting a mini contingency here, if I slip up again on Jap or the blogging, I will do it on Friday. I should have some time to set aside from my Dota gaming.

Saturday: International Cosplay Day Singapore (ICDS)
Woohoo! 2 straight cosplay events 2 weeks in a row? Talk about jumping headfirst into things. Marina Barrage was damn hot. Hopefully this one at Scape will be better. After all, they do charge for an entrance ticket. Again, I have never been to ICDS before, so I will not know what to expect. And again, I am not armed with a camera, so my Galaxy S6 will have to do. Hopefully not too many low-light shots. Really challenging for phones to deal with those. If you are attending this event as well, or happen to be in orchard on Saturday, text me as well. Can just meet to say hi, or get some drinks.

Thanks to my friend for the intro. Saturday has been changed to Family Day. Shall be going down with my family to attend the Japanese Summer Festival. First time attending, should be quite a fun eye-opener. :)

Sunday: Family Day
My dad will be back from Brazil this week, so we should be able to drive out or something. I suppose we will go out and eat, get groceries, and window shop. Quality time with the family is always good. Will probably need the rest after a full day at ICDS as well. :P

Unfortunately, no rest day for me. Sunday has been changed to my ICDS day. Have arranged with a friend to go along with. Aiming for that Magic cards booth. Will also walk around taking pictures of the pretty cosplays. :)

And that's another week planned! Now just need to execute. EZ!

New MV! I really like this song. Been waiting for them to release the MV for it. The tune is nice and catchy. And if you google the translated lyrics, it very aptly describes the world we live in. At the point when I first heard it, the title was also super appropriate to my situation. An endless routine of boring nothingness.

But I shall stop here before I go into anymore negative thoughts. I got a plan to execute! :)
