Project Windfall

Woohoo!
For the first time in a reeeaaaalllyyy loooong while, I am feeling excited again!!!

They just recently announced the performance bonus for our company. It's a pretty decent chunk of money for sure. BUT, that's not the reason why I am excited. Haha.

I posted this on Twitter quite recently. It's basically the reason that got me all excited again. I'd tell you know it's not the first part. As much as I would have liked it, the GF part ain't coming true anytime soon. On the bright side, I am about to make my first step on the second part.

Now, I don't wanna jinx it too early, so I won't share much about it right now. I'm also not at liberty to share too much since it might jeopardize my official career. It's not like I'm doing illegal stuff lah, but you know, strict policies about starting a business while having a day job. It's a bitch really.

Actually I'm not even doing any legal business. It's STRICTLY a hobby that 2 old university pals are embarking on in the near future. Just for fun! And if it does happen to turn out to become an awesome product, then good! All the better, we have something to monetize. But honestly, it is just a hobby project for now.

That's not to say we don't intend for it to succeed. Always begin with the end in mind right? I will say we DO intend to eventually turn a profit out of it, and there is a profit model built in already. Timeline I can't say for sure. At the moment, it's just the 2 of us buddies. If any of you are my uni coursemates, and are interested to hear about it, do drop me a message or call. I think having a few more people on board will help to propel it even faster.

I know I'm sounding a little cryptic right now. I just don't want to count my chickens before they are hatched. I will share more in due time...
