Valentine's Whut?

Valentine's day! Woots~

Except it doesn't really apply to me. Never had, and as it seems, never will.
But heck since I haven't posted in awhile, just as a symbolic kind of thing, let's make a post about it. With my current hectic schedule, I didn't have time to do anything special but I did find two really nice songs that suit the occasion. To help you get into the mood, so to speak. It's nice! So do take some time to listen to them.


The first song is by one of my favorite bands, All Time Low. I think I've recommended them a lot on this blog, but I do think they are quite good and have great potential. This song is more of a rock song, but they do have some nice acoustic songs too. I originally never heard of this song before because it's not  on any of their albums. It's from the soundtrack of Jennifer's Body.

Toxic Valentine:




A short power-packed 3min song. The lyrics are appropriate too. At least in my case...



The next song is more mellow and relaxed. More romantic if you will. The original song is by Katy Perry , but this is a cover done by Boyce Avenue. Boyce Avenue is a band that mainly garners support and fans through YouTube, but they really are not bad. I always think they do great acoustic covers, and this one is no different. They even modded some of the lyrics to suit a male singer! Awesome huh?

It's not as easy as it looks to find songs. Particularly to suit a particular occasion. So, what will I be doing tomorrow? Nothing much really. I've got a date with my homework assignments and lecture notes. Many deadlines going on and a test on Wednesday. Argh.
