One Year Anniversary!

Yay for one year anniversary of Incomplete Perfexion!


Wow, it's been a year already? Time has passed so quickly. Periods of naïvety, periods of success, periods of depression. It's all been recorded right here on this very blog. This place has served as a place to occasionally offload stuff I was thinking about, that I may revisit it again some day.

But since the anniversary of this blog is tied to my birthday, yay for birthday too I guess. As I've said before, I've never ever actually had a big celebration for my birthdays. Didn't have one this year either. It's usually just a simple dinner with my family.

This year felt really different, but then again every year is unique to me. On Thursday, I just went to school as usual, and attended lessons like normal. After all, it's not like I was expecting something special right?..... Anyway surprisingly , Jian Yue came and wished me in person, then Julian saw and followed suit. It's something new to me. It seems that wishing in person brings about a level of sincerity that cannot be done online. Just feels more genuine you know?

Speaking of online wishes, I think I got a record number this year. I didn't actually go and count them, but certainly past years didn't have this many I think. The interesting thing that I noticed is the people who posted. I guess the people who posted first are those that happened to be on Facebook late in the night? Coz it seemed like quite a random mix. Then there were a couple of regular people who have posted on my wall before. Expected, but still appreciated. And then there were quite a number of people whom I have never talked to in a very long time. I'm thankful that they still remembered me. I am somewhat disappointed though, that 2 of my closest friends, and my only longest lasting friend did not remember, or perhaps they were too busy to be on Facebook.

I feel like we are growing apart. That's unfortunate. :(

In terms of presents, I didn't really get many. Not that I was expecting. I got some from my parents and my sister. I got a "positive thinking" mug, which seems rather appropriate given my usual emo self? And a nice Chocolate and Banana cake!

I've been meaning to put up this post more punctually, but somehow couldn't find the time for it. So how? Back date the post lor... Bo pian. It's just better if the date coincides well with my birthday and the blog launch. Makes more sense that way. The reason why I couldn't put it up on time is a combination of a couple of things. Thursday was packed full because of school lessons, and dinner at night. But because I was so tired from the whole week, I slept until 6pm the next day!! Yes, 6pm!!! So, after loafing around and also doing some programming, I went off to sleep again. Thus I only had time to post today, 11 Feb.

Speaking of assignments, that's the present given to me by the lecturers lor. As aptly pointed out by Chih Yong. I got deadlines for everything, every module I'm taking, they all want something from me next week! SSB has the project outline, 2103 has programming assignment, 3221 need to give screenshots and reflection, 2104 needs a 10 page reflection but extended the deadline by a few more days, GEK the most demanding with 1 assignment and a mid-term test to top it off!  D:

Next week is gonna be a fucking amazing week for me.

Among other non-intentional presents.... SCANDAL recently released their new music video for Harukaze, which will be their upcoming single. The date it was released on YouTube just happened to be one day before my birthday, so yay for birthday present! I really like the song and the video though I'm not too sure about their new look. Mami looks better with her new hairstyle, but the rest of them might have been better off retaining their old style. Just me thinking.

Thanks again to everyone who wished me on my birthday, it really matters a lot to me. I don't think I'll have the opportunity to celebrate in Singapore next year. Will be going on exchange to the US... Anyway if you'd excuse me, I literally have a shit ton of assignments to rush.
